Just saying, I've seen countless surveys about Trump demographics and more often than not they don't line up with yours...
My statement was about income, not anything else.

It's pretty easy to look up. I don't know why you would think I wouldn't be able to post it.

If you don't think it is accurate, argue with the New York Times:

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...xit-polls.html

I'm not a Republican, nor a Tump voter/supporter, I just think that some people who have the sourest taste in their mouthes re the election tend to harp on what some might call the 'missing teeth, dropped out of high school set'.

Some Trump voters are near the opposite end from that reality (AnesthesiaMD would be one example).

I once brought up to one of the most strident Trump haters on this board that the biggest issue with some Trump voters was a better chance at paying less in taxes. That poster replied that such voters are sociopaths.

I hope they both don't run. While the GOP obsession with Warren's use of the believed Indian heritage is completely overblown the truth is she did pull it out of nowhere, in her middle age, with no real explanation. It makes her attackable and she's not a great candidate to begin with. Same issue with Booker- his vote AGAINST allowing US citizens to buy drugs from Canada, while joined by a vast majority of Republicans, shows that he's bought and paid for. He sold out US citizens there. He's a corporate shill and sadly I will not support him because of it. The shame is he could have been a winning candidate. Instead Trump will flay him alive in front of a national audience if the Dems are stupid enough to run him.

We can do better.

Hard to be critical of how insulting Trump can be sometimes when we're all pretty insulting when we want to be. I guess the difference is that we're not all POTUS, but for everyone who loves a POTUS just like us, at least when it comes to some of our worst behaviors, Trump is king!

Understood. Note my link was also about income, along with a few other Trump supporter demographics...

It may or may not be easy to look up a particular survey, but posting a link to back up claims in these threads should be standard practice in my opinion. I was curious about yours, because I have always read contrary to what you were claiming. NYTs or not, based on most surveys I've seen since Trump came on the scene, I don't think it is correct to suggest Trump supporters are more likely to be high income earners vs the opposite.

Problem is not so much the exception to the rule. I also know some high-income Trump supporters, and of course we all know they are out there (pun intended). The thing about statistics or demographics, however, is what they tell us about MOST of any candidate's supporters. The groups they tend to attract is very telling and important.

Politics is no "exact science," and why people support who they do is many times about emotion, perception, and upbringing that hardly depends on the facts, reason and logic our opinions should be based upon.

And that's how Lieutenant Heelspurs dodged the draft.
I was going to point out the same thing, but of course Trump supporters are very selective about which lies are okay and which lies are not. More specifically, Trump lies are okay. Lies by anyone not supportive of Trump are not okay even when everyone else knows they are not lies at all.

Objectively speaking, I have to wonder about the truth of Trump's medical condition that allowed him to avoid the draft. If that isn't the kind of lie that offends just about any good American let alone Vet, I don't know what is, but I'm also not sure there is any good evidence Trump's medical condition was made up.

I guess it really doesn't matter since Trump supporters don't care and the rest of us don't really need anymore reasons to wish Trump's time in office ends ASAP.
