You said in post 151, "A frisk is NOT a search"! Dickerson clearly dictates that, "A frisk IS a search".
I read it and didn't see where it defines it more than a limited search. A full search, which what I'm referring to when I mention the term, involves manipulating clothing and articles and may even involve a strip search.
Considering that Trump is an avid supporter of Stop and Frisk and he is calling for it nationwide, why should I vote for him? I ask this because there are those who seem to love Trump and feel that I should support him.
More police is fine, stop and frisking is not. The problem in places in Chicago is that something like 50% of homicides go unsolved which means the killers are still out there to kill again before being finally arrested (usually after killing many people). More police to solve crimes and throw guilty people away: fine. Giving police authority to frisk innocent people walking: NOT FINE.
Stop and frisking is a violation of rights, and there is no time when stop and frisk is ok. If you support stop and frisk, you quite frankly are a horrible person, and I don't throw around this term often, but a racist.
THANK. YOU.
Most of us who are against stop & frisk are not anti-police. More police to solve crimes is a good idea. Police officers being trained better to deal with certain situations is a good idea. Stop and Frisk is not a good idea. And yes, stop and frisk is a violation of rights. Some people don't care at all that this is the case. Some are comfortable with this, as long as it doesn't get to them.
