uh oh -- go back read my post. I never said that you said they fell last fall.

I simply asked you two questions.

Who is having trouble with reading comprehension?

All you had to say is - - no and it doesn't happen every year.

That's all.

A little defensive I see.

And rightfully so as you are obviously on shaky ground citing Stock market mythology as sound theory.

Taken as a whole, a very strong argument can be made for September being worse for the markets than October.

https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nati...ctober-effect/

https://www.wisebread.com/6-things-i...october-effect
According to a new report from Yardeni Research, the average monthly return in October is 0.4%. That's not a massive return, but there were 51 years of positive returns versus 36 years with down markets. It's worth noting that when the market goes down in October, it goes down hard, to the tune of 4.7%. But that's offset by good months that average a 4.1% gain. In other words, history shows that October could swing big in either direction.

Okay, Trump is bad and ruining the stock market, Lol

That's what this thread is all about. Lets hear it!

You started the topic dear. And S&P 500, despite today's indication, is the highest its ever been due to Trump economy.

I do know that gripes your ass.

Interest rates, bond market, hurricane is what I've been hearing today on the business channels. Seriously, nothing much about trade wars.

There will be radio silence from Trump. He only pats himself on the back when the market is up. America knows better. I think it is a correction due in part to the huge run-up.

Obviously some on here do not understand the rules when discussing the stock market during this presidency, so I'll post them:

If the stock market is up, it's because Trump is the best president that ever was. There should be no mention of the market steadily rising since Obama's first fiscal year began because "you can keep your doctor" butter emails, MAGA!

If the stock market is down, it obviously has nothing to do with Trump; it's just a fluctuation. Benghazi! Iran! MAGA!

You're welcome in advance.

DOW is lower than it was in January, so we have not made any gains since Jan.

Thanks for letting me know the rules. I've already been told I want the country to fail by starting this thread. I think that person has been tuning in to a little too much Hannity.
