Don't lose sight of these two historic acts that you may now be enlisted in or will be in the future. I hear so many bad raps on the Dems and thought I'd post these reminders.

Don't believe the hype! Democrats are genuinely good people. Republicans are genuinely corrupt.

No sane person looks to the government for efficient management of healthcare.

Medicare is funded entirely by the federal government and paid for in part through payroll taxes. Medicare is currently a source of controversy due to the strain it puts on the federal budget. Throughout its history, the program also has been plagued by fraud—committed by patients, doctors and hospitals—that has cost taxpayers billions of dollars.

Well, I'm for programs that save and help the people and so against programs that kill all over the world. Killing innocent people and that includes children...

I guess many here are for those programs.

There is a segment of good Republicans. I would not paint a broad brush, the what they stand for basically are:

Dems -- for the people.

Repubs -- for the corporate bottom lines.

You are not forced. I know people who do not buy into Medicare. If only more didn't, like the rich.

Government healthcare.

A recent study shows that the twice annual time change increases A-fib and heart attacks by 20% in the days following those changes. And yet it continues.

Or Federal government can't even negate that risk.

Why did you leave out Jim Crow?

Here in NC interracial marriage was still illegal in 1971 and the schools were segregated. This years after SS and Medicare was passed. Who controlled the state goverment, Democrats.

The point being, no party stays the same.
