The better idea would be to get people off drugs and promote healthy lifestyles and diets. Way too many drugs for everything these days.

While I certainly agree with you, another great step would be to end the stupid ban on importing meds from foreign countries, where the exact same meds cost pennies on the dollar.

The reason drugs are more expensive here is because we subsidize them in foreign countries.

I agree but some do really need the medication. I have to take a statin and meds for high blood pressure. It's hereditary. I am 5'1", weigh 110 and exercise. That's just not enough since my cholesterol was 330 before medication.
