"A black woman used social media to announce her departure from the Democrat Party, claiming to be part of "blacks for Trump" and the "walk away" movement. At the height of so-called "Blexit," a movement which encourages black Americans to reject the idea that they must be Democrats, the Twitter post making such a declaration from the woman went viral.

But the announcement was phony."

Smart. Pandering is big business today. Conservatives love black conservatives as their pets just like liberals do so might as well take advantage of their ignorance.

She's not much different from your Tomi Lahrens, Candace Owens, Kanye Wests, Angela Ryes, Ann Coulter's, Van Jones', of the world etc. that are on TV acting like they believe the BS rhetoric they spew to idiots of the left and right.

Trump is also not much different and is a master panderer. I respect his hustle. You have a guy that was a Democrat for decades and all of a sudden flips to hardcore Republican views and his base in the sticks of America actually believes this rich guy actually cares about them.

That is actually pretty funny ! First, Trumpees were ripped off by Trump, and then, again, by this woman ! They are sooooooooo gullible.

I think I'll have a drink to this one !

..so you guys don't think people were just trying to be nice and help her out

"The woman, whose Twitter bio identifies her as a "reformed Republican," claimed to be disowned from her mother, kicked out of her house, and financially destitute over her Trump support. After posting screenshots of apparently staged text messages to showcase her hardship, she linked followers to a GoFundMe account; sympathetic Trump supporters pledged a reported $150,000 to the woman."

I think what she did was despicable, but I also think that the people who have been over-hyping the #WalkAway "movement," particularly those shoving it at black people, pretty much offered her the opportunity on a silver platter. She parroted their narrative, and they fell for it, hook, line, and sinker.

It sounds like she's rationalizing taking advantage of people. She has no right to use people's generosity like that.

So she did what Trump did. Scammed a bunch of Trump supporters.

She should run for president.
