how exactly? what tangible action do you think obama could have taken to end birtherism? he released his birth certificate in june 2008, the facts of his birth were confirmed by the HI department of health in october 2008 and supported by the 1961 HI birth index that is now, and has always been, open to the public. all evidence after that ( contemporaneous newspaper announcements, confirmation from multiple directors of health and state officials, the "long-form" birth certificate...) only escalated the conspiracy theory.
