No surprise seeing how the majority of leftists nowadays approve of censorship.

He defines politics as power. “And, whether you like it or not, young lady,” he says, leaning over his desk to shake a finger at me, “us cruddy politicians can take away that First Amendrnent of yours if we want to.” There’s no time to pursue the point—Biden is summoned to the floor for a vote.

Same thing Breitbart says is in the article there.

the statement is correct. any amendment to the constitution would first pass thru congress then have to be ratified by state governments ( politicians ).

Politically incorrect, but he isn't wrong. Article V of the US Constitution explains how, and there is exactly nothing else anywhere in that document that says otherwise.

Get 2/3 of the House and Senate to agree to repeal the 1st Amendment, and then get simple majorities in the legislatures of 38 states to ratify that repeal, and bang, the 1st Amendment is no more.

Now, getting that much majority approval to get rid of free speech, press, religion, assembly and redress of grievance would be certainly improbable, but it is also most certainly possible.

More people should read the US Constitution and understand it. While some things are not politically likely, it doesn't make them impossible or unlawful, because Article I and V of that document tell you that legislatures decide what is lawful, and if they feel changing the Constitution to suit new definitions of lawful, well, they can and you can **** about it.

Actually, Biden's verbal diarrhea paid off there, with a bit of actual truth about civics most people simply don't know.

So you are bringing up something Biden said 45 years ago as important but are willing to dismiss what Trump says less than 10 years ago as the past! SMH!

Oh the irony of someone not being able to read. You think my status below my user name here that says "F Trump..." indicates support for him?
