This means that in NY and CA, when you include state and local taxes, some people will be paying over 80% in taxes. Thats just absurd, regardless of how much money anyone makes. The federal government does not have the right to take 70% of anyone's income, taking ~30% is questionable, especially considering how wasteful they are with it.
The tax hikes will hurt small business and corporations who provides jobs the most. There is a reason why the unemployment is 3.9% and mostly due to the Trump tax cuts.
Another myth is that tax cuts creates a deficit but the graft below proves other wise.
Don't be scapegoating groups of people of which are 1-3% of the entire population.
They are not the cause of wages going down. Acting like we didn't have illegal immigration problem back in the 60s and 70s?
30 million would be 10% of the population, 10 million would be 3.33% And since the vast majority are working low paying jobs they are a HUGE factor in suppressing minimum wage. Open your eyes.
I'd say she's more in the Screech Sanders camp than Obama. Blame the rich, promise free chit (with no plan to pay for it) and attract a horde of simple-minded losers that have never moved out of their parent's basement. The main thing she has in common with Obama is that when called on her lies and stupidity-she plays the race card.
Don't get me wrong-Obama was a terrible president and did plenty to harm this nation. But AOC takes stupid to an entirely different level. Look at the bright side-we have entertainment for a couple years...and it will beat seeing Maxine's face on the screen as the dumbest person in congress.
