I know raise their wages too. That means charge more for oil changes. That means cost of living goes up.

Im happy enough that I was smart enough to escape an entry level job at a young age. The formula works and is easy. Apply yourself and make yourself better than entry level.
or
Just do enough to not get fired and accept that you just aren't valuable enough to pay more.
The idea of a minimum wage is that the job they do is enough for them to survive on. There is no point for anyone to do a job they can't live off of. So raise that minimum wage. What's the purpose of your 7+something minimum wage if it can't support even a single person in most of the USA?

This is akin to a business regulation similar to safety regulations in the workplace, overtime compensation, etc.

But yet you, boneyard, whose probably some working class or middle class stiff, is objecting? Why? Because you're brainwashed.

Great and what's your point? It's not always about you. Some people are not smart, let's be real. Some people may make a bad decision at one time in their life that prevents most future job prospects. These are still people. And if there is a purpose of a society it's to protect the weakest in their society. It's really elementary, I don't care that you "made it", I care to make sure no one starves. Got it?

Im objecting because I know how to succeed and have succeeded. Entry level jobs pay entry level wages. Want more? Make more of yourself. Make yourself a valuable asset. I see this time and again. underachievers griping because the guys who succeed make more. The only thing Bernie Sanders has ever been good at is taking tax dollars. Asking him how to grow a business is akin to taking advice from Trump on how to pass a 6th grade vocabulary test.

You want better than minimum wage? Then do something to make yourself worth more than minimum wage.

Quite honestly I dont have a dog in the fight. Im retired and living in another country . I live about 3 miles from the beach and I am debt free. Not bad for a brain washed working class stiff.

Yeah everyone in this thread commenting so far is "retired early" and "successful" and most importantly, happy. I bet your dicks are 12" as well, but I don't care, this thread is not about you. Whether you're successful or not, IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU.

Nah I am average 7 and can prove where I live.
This thread wasn't about individual posters until you made it so.
People like you expect people like me to carry you and do more so that you dont have to. That is really your bottom line. Pay you more but dont expect more.

It isn't our fault that you are aggrieved because minimum wage is the best you can earn. Thats on you and others who are stuck at minimum wage.
Work a second job like most successful people have. Learn some skills other than flipping burgers or stocking Walmart shelves.
Minimum wage is entry level wage. Sucks to be skills light so do something about it. Try welding, heavy equipment mechanic, hydraulics mechanic. They all pay very well or go to school.

I couldn't do college. Not my thing but I applied myself and did well, but it all starts with work ethic. Winners have it and losers dont.

As I said before people content to work at Walmart or other low end jobs can expect low end pay. Want more then become more.

This from a man in power to make laws for us to follow but he and others in congress can just give themselves a pay raise anytime they want.If these clowns were paid for their job performance in congress they wouldn't have two nickels too rub together!

Well he keeps getting elected by the locals there so perhaps they don't agree; you should move to Vermont so you can vote against him.
