Or do you believe that only a media that says nice things about you and Donald should be allowed and all others who ask inconvenient questions are "enemy of the People?"

The 'free' press is mostly an extension of the Democrat party.
BTW, its not about the content of the questions.....Acosta got in trouble for asking 5 questions and hogging the microphone (and not handing it to the intern).
And even when he was questioning Sanders the other day he asked 3 questions instead of 2 (he broke the newly announced rule).

Not a conservative, but I'll weigh in - sure, a free press is one of many bulwarks against tyranny, but where is our press not free to independently question authority?

Wow. Can't imagine anyone not thinking a free press is vital for democracy.

Or perhaps it's just that a free press may not always report exactly what conservatives want to hear...

That's because they are paid to 'report' what left-wing audiences want to hear (calling the President names etc.).

Welp. The OP was seeking to have a decent and fact-based discussion.

But leave it to literally the very first reply, and we get (look at the screen name I'm quoting) to start pointing fingers at the group of people who have different views/opinions than him.

I'm shocked, I tell you. Completely blindsided.

Conservatives, do you agree that a free press capable of independently questioning authority is vital for democracy?

Of course it is.

My post had facts, unlike yours.
