I seem to remember plenty of those "grunge" types buying lots of flannel. Glad I am not a slave to trends. Though I do have a passel of spendy handbags.

The research in that article is completely correlational.

They cannot actually be sure that "fragile masculinity" is causing people to vote in a certain way.
