Poor child. Again, he was alone in his room, marinating in his hurt feelings. And I noticed, too, that the mother was perched on her computer posting on Facebook even after her son killed himself. Okay.

Memo to parents: Get the hell off the computer, notice what your kids are doing, and get them involved with family activities. Teach your children to be kind to others, and teach them to let slights roll off their backs.

Not every child will commit suicide when bullied. Parents can assure that theirs won't be one of them who does.
