Racism and discrimination will continue to exist until the world ends.

Only racists believe that. If that was the case slavery would still be rampant in America.
We shall overcome. And that includes mindset. It's all what the parents teach the children.
No one child is ever born hating a child of another color. They must learn to hate.

Amen!

You name it; I'll celebrate it and take the day off.

Next up - ~ National Potato Day

I like the idea of Civil Rights Day. We can still honor the man. We have presidents and I believe we have had some real heroes, flawed as they were at times, but none get a special day as all are lumped together for Presidents Day. I do admire Canada: they have a holiday each month while we have a holiday desert during some months.

I find nothing wrong with honoring that. It's about remembering and respecting, not about white people bashing (many whites who supported the movement also suffered and died, and without their assistance the movement would not have been successful).
Absolutely, he was a great man with a great dream that has absolutely been perverted and debouched by the left wing in the USA.

They tore down statues in order to move on from the past. Are we moving on or not? I guess Hallmark is happy - more days to print their cards.
Wow, I can't believe you would try to compare 9/11 to MLKD in any shape form or fashion.
