First and foremost he was the FBI chief and he has knowledge of the full range and scope of Trump's misdeeds still not disclosed to the public up to the time he was fired. And he was an honorable man doing his job when he was fired simply to obstruct justice. Then to top it off it is now known that Trump was trying to have the DOJ prosecute him. I call him a patriot sounding a warning alarm to those Americans who abide by the Constitution and abhor authoritarian leaders.
He knew of Barry's and Hillary's misdeeds and when did Mr.Pen and a Phone abide by the Constitution ?

Comey has the right to speak, but to me it is just a little unseemly for an ex-FBI director to be so entangled in partisan politics. Especially considering that the FBI has a long and sordid history of political entanglement, going back to Teapot Dome.
Comey should take a lesson from W Bush and SHUT UP. W Bush sets the standard for ex-officials who refrain from meddling and yapping about successors.

Anyway there was sufficient cause to fire Comey for losing control of the agency and letting it become a partisan snake pit. The text exchange between Page and Strzok about meeting with the FISC judge occurred in 2016, long before Comey was fired.
