So much speculation. I think we should all just wait to see what the report says.

However, what we have seen already is that six members of Trump's campaign team have been convicted or pleaded to federal crimes, to include nearly all of them lying to federal investigators. Trump surrounds himself with terrible people as half his campaign team and his former personal attorney are now convicted felons. That is a fact, not to be argued or spun by Trump supporters.

Now, though half of his campaign team members seem to be criminals, does any of that tie to Russia collusion? No, not yet. And we shall have to wait and see what the final report says before we know if there was any collusion or not. I for one do not believe a single word Trump says, so even though he says "no collusion" 10 times a week, I am not convinced.

Last week, we saw a Russian spy, Maria Butina, plead guilty and admit that she was working for Russia to embed herself into republican politics and the NRA. We've also seen that Flynn frequently visited Russia. We also know, for a fact, that Trump Jr met with Russians during the infamous "Trump Tower" meeting to discuss dirt on Hillary Clinton. Trump also had a 2-hour conversation with Putin, in which nobody else was allowed in the room, except interpreters.

Hopefully Mueller's report will help sort out all those details and give us a full, broad picture of exactly what did or didn't happen.

Mueller was unleashed on Trump and associates to find whatever dirt was around since infancy. With unlimited funds and NO restrictions Mueller could convict the Pope..........the fabulous perjury trap got Flynn, a rookie mistake if there ever was one......

Random thought about Trump and his base:

Donald Trump and City-Data Trump supporters attack Bob Mueller constantly. They loathe him. Trump insults Mueller and calls him names on nearly a daily basis. City-Data Trump supporters insist that Mueller is an "angry democrat" and part of the "Deep State" out to get Trump.

But has anybody ever thought about, what if Mueller's report were to completely exonerate Donald Trump of any wrong doing? What if Mueller's report proves that, beyond a reasonable doubt, there really was no collusion? Would POTUS 45 and all the Trump supporters here on City-Data suddenly do a complete 180 and give Mueller credit for being honest and fair? Would they praise Mueller for being objective and not letting his alleged bias get in the way?

All conspiracy theories do.
You obviously haven't read some of the conspiracy theories posted here as fact. This is an ongoing investigation. None of us know much about what that investigation has found.

I also don't believe "the investigation" will ever end until Trump is gone from office possibly as soon as 2020.
You have no idea what Mueller has. Not a lot of fiction with all those indictment and jail sentences. Just sayin.

Of course they wouldn't. They would claim that Trump was so innocent even the Deep State attack led by all those Republicans couldn't even find a way to make something stick. They would still run all over him.

Actually there are parameters to the Mueller investigation. He doesn't have "no" restrictions. And he also doesn't have unlimited funds. Although he's recovered more than he's spent. Can't say the same for Trump will all his Mar-A-Lago excursions.

So you're saying that Flynn is so fantasticallly stupid that he doesn't know he's not supposed to lie to the FBI? You would think that with his storied background, he would know that. Hell, I know that just from watching "The X Files."

He must have ish for brains

The Clintons were under Special Counsel investigation for nearly 7 years. It started with Whitewater and went into all sorts of nooks and crannies unrelated to its original purpose. It concluded with insufficient evidence to press charges beyond the Monica thing. 7 years.

It did however charge and led to the conviction of others related to Whitewater.

I have consistently said it's quite possible that the Special Investigation of the Trump Campaign and the nooks and crannies of where it leads, could have a similar outcome. There may not be sufficient evidence to charge Trump while others Within the campaign will be charged and found guilty of crimes.

None of us know what Mueller has or not. Makes no sense for me to speculate.
