Along with his blustering and bullying, he's always also had a ready sense of self-pity. As to your question of what's wrong with his - I guess this is the result of his living so isolate from the real world.
He's more alone than he realizes, too. I just posted a major article from the New York Times that says he's even starting to distrust his family.

Also, IMO too many threads here show the lack of independent thought and their stooping lower than the MSM at times. Too much hatred even of their fellow human being in here mixed with . Very saddening!
