NO; I don't want a recession. I want to retire at age 60 and a recession SURE isn't going to help with that.

Check today. Back down again.

Some of the largest daily point surges in my memory happened during 2008. Recessions are typically accompanied by wild swings in the stock market but the overall trend is down, like we are seeing now.
