Nancy Pelosi called a border wall "immoral and sends the wrong message about who we are".
So.....what's so "immoral" about wanting to protect your borders?
How Dems can say things like this while expecting us to believe that they aren't endorsing de facto open borders must really take a special kind of stupid.
Nothing immoral in protecting our borders.
What would be immoral is; running a campaign with a promise that you would build a wall without costing taxpayers a dime, knowing full well that there was zero chance of that happening. It would be immoral to then have the Taxpayers be responsible for the full cost of the wall, when you didn't even receive half of the votes when you promised it would be free,
The amount of money for something that won't serve to do anything but provide a symbol for xenophobes. We can and should control immigration, a dumb wall is not the way to do it. More agents, better tech and punishment for employers.
Donald Trump seems to confirm ABC News reporting that his administration is considering building a wall without the consent or appropriation of Congress by declaring a national emergency.
“I can do it if I want,” Trump said. “We can call a national emergency and build it very quickly.”
The president, when asked about ABC News' reporting later on Friday during a press conference, acknowledged that he would consider granting himself national emergency powers to help get the wall built "for the security of our country". He did not elaborate on the details of such a process.
Impeach him now. This is insane. He literally referred to "The military version of eminent domain"

What do said agents want? Everyone I've heard believes the wall will be an effective tool. Do they not know what they are talking about?
This is delusional. There is no way to build this wall "very quickly."
Aside from confiscating land from owners, there's rugged terrain, and lack of roads to contend with.
