Cancer is a SOB. I'm sorry to hear about his situation and wish him well.

Harry Reid is one of the "lucky" people who was able to make so much money as a "politician" while serving for the government for 30 years. His income was not high enough to save every penny so he must, just as Pelosi and other very wealthy liberals, made money on the side.

His kids all have great jobs and almost all, or maybe all got appointed or elected for some government jobs too.

Health care insurance is not an issue as he has the Cadillac insurance we all like to have.

Harry Reid was a mean, spiteful person and I really dislike what the man stands for. Having said that, I do not wish any illness on anyone, regardless if I like them or not, except for Hitler and similar people in History or who are alive now.

I'm so glad Harry Reid made sure we got the best president now, that we could wish for and that must have been a thorn in his eyes!

I will be grateful for the one thing Harry Reid's NUCLEAR option which Harry Reid, unwillingly helped Donald Trump when it was convenient.

Right now, I'm waiting for word one of my oldest friends has died. 11 days ago, he suffered a sudden stroke and tests discovered he has an inoperable brain tumor and the docs only gave him 3 weeks before it claims him.

He's always been healthy as a horse. I called him 12 days ago for a chat, and he was fine. He's spent the past 11 days getting his affairs in order, and I visited him 2 days ago. The doctor has him pumped full of steroids so he can keep going long enough to settle his affairs, but once the steroids wear off, he could die instantly.

He's good with it, and isn't in pain. We said our farewells well. But waiting for the call has been hell for me ever since, along with hell for his wife, family, and his many friends. He's been a straight-up guy all his life, so he isn't carrying any regrets.

So don't be a cynic or take a cheap shot at Harry Ried. It could happen to you too, or any of us, and it's no damn fun when it happens. Most of us don't lead lives with such purpose like my friend or Harry have led.

Regret is the worst thing a dying person can have when the end is coming fast. Today's cheap cruelty is tomorrow's regret.

Trump is at his boldest when someone is dying of cancer. It s in his playbook. Daddy issues. Hatred of his father and of his father dying and leaving him to do his own crimes to get money leaks out of him every day. SO obvious.
Mommy issues are pretty obvious too. He stays 100 miles away from Nancy Pelosi. He s terrified of the Mother he never had.

Trump is the poster child for bad parenting...of a child that needs to live in a society with other people.

His attacks on the elderly and dying prove it.

You're right it takes a morally corrupt low life scum bag to get satisfaction out of needling a dying person.

It took my uncle 3 months from diagnosis to death. He went to the doctor for an upset stomach.

Sorry to hear about Mr. Reid.

Harry Reid has done more to champion conservative values in the coming decades than any other Democratic politician and for that I applaud him.

It's not beyond the realm of possibility that there might be some people whose hatred of Harry and hatred of Hitler = within the same universe.

Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind my asking, how old was your uncle?

The venom on this thread for someone who is dying is frankly amazing—
Even though I read these posters all the time and shouldn’t be surprised...
