In the future, can we somehow educate them so that they understand that "The Apprentice" is just a fake TV show?

Right after we educate them on the limited role of what the President, in truth, is. A figurehead that can steer a raft, but can't change the direction of the river its on.

That is the Dingleberry Theory of Justification. It's always someone else's fault unless it went well. Then you take the credit.

It's really quite brilliant if you can get enough suckers to agree with you.

It was 2017, but yes. What I find funny is many of the Obama months actually had better job gains yet it was a fake recovery. The same people under Trump claim the economy is great thanks to Trump, despite Trump policy not being exactly in place and effecting jobs yet.

Trump is a salesman. He's trying way too hard to convince people how great he is. Polar opposite of quietly going about your business. He picked terrible initial team members as evidence of the fallout in his first 2-years. Scandal, conspiracy theory, circus, whatever you want to call it, controversy sticks to Trump like super glue. He definitely has given the media a profitable boost with huge gains in the global television audience. He is tabloid material. I say this knowing that past presidents have had their own tabloid material. Trump just plays the game better, or so he thinks.

What I find interesting from the poll is 40% of people gave Trump a score of 5 or better. 60% of people think Trump is doing a sub-par to abysmal job as president. I'd say the 8-10 group which are 90 votes (they are 74% of those rating Trump 5 or better) and those that think Trump is only doing a 1-2 which is 171 votes (they make-up 93% of those rating Trump 4 or worse) are the extremes on both sides. Those that think Trump is doing a terrible job seem to be much more on here than those thinking he is doing a great job, despite more posts by those thinking he is great.

That's weird because I think he kicks ass!

The economy is on fire.

Wages are going up because we have more jobs than people to fill them.

No new wars...what else were you hoping for?

Same guys that think Obama was the best and most Transparent President ever

I give Trump 5 points over Obama just for being more peaceful

I gave him a five for pretty much the same reasons.. He spouts crap the dems were all for not so long ago and their heads explode. Then he trashes the Republicans or undermines their position. That said at least he isn't Hillary. I wish that he was Jim Webb

She apparently wants more of the transparency of the previous administration:
