Oh, I do understand Trumps irrational attitude toward Mr. Obama. But since NAFTA was created by Clinton, I don't really see that being much of a factor.
Trump claimed that NAFTA was horrible for the US, and that the TPP would be even worse. Yet according to analysis NAFTA 2.0 is almost entirely NAFTA with minor TPP improvements.
Looks like it's just the opinion of just one woman on what might happen. She doesn't back it up with any scientific analysis. The National Review is a Never Trumper rag.
But here's the question, why do you guys hope as hard as you can that America fails?

Trump is failing. Thankfully our country and govt is stronger then Trump.
Trump failing does not mean we the people fail. We just work harder while Trump runs away.

Excerpt from one of the links above but generally repeated in all of them:
"Experts told us the new NAFTA varies only slightly from the old one, which came into force in 1994. The new deal is expected to take effect around the start of 2020, but still has to be approved by Congress."
"Yes, it’s a huge deal, but it’s a huge deal that was negotiated in the 1990s," said Edward Alden, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. "This agreement has some differences, but they’re not that significant."
An inconvenient Truth but truth nonetheless. Trump's the only doofus implying America was failing and you ate it up.
Don't you people ever get tired of blaming the other party? Both sides are for the rich. Nafta 2.0 has some good things and some bad, but that's not the issue. The problem is that the newer deal, just like it's predecessor (all trade policy for that matter) serves big business and hurts the average person at the international level.
