I've had numerous of those background checks. You're being disingenuous to state that a prohibited from owning firearms individual is going to buy one from someone utilizing the NICS system.

No it would be the worst trade-off ever in the history of America. I brought this up on the forum already and I am honestly concerned our "glorious leaders" will do it nevertheless.

Agreed but the wall can never, and therefore, will never be built because it is among other things, logistically impossible. We get improved gun control laws and universal background checks for 5 billion $.

Trump's wall will be a folly monument that will define the GOP for many years to come.

i'm pretty sure we already have gun control otherwise you see Joe Gun-nuts possesses Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) or RPG in his possession, instead of 10-round cap mag and mutilated AR-15 like in California.

Now show me what of the US Constitution states "illegal immigration is a right" or something similar?

I can tell you the law.

Can an alien who enters the United States on a nonimmigrant alien visa rent a firearm for lawful hunting or sporting purposes while in the United States?
A nonimmigrant alien that possess a valid hunting license from a State within the United States or falls within any of the other exceptions or exemptions that allow nonimmigrant aliens to possess firearms may rent firearms to hunt or to use at a shooting range.

[18 U.S.C. 922(a)(5) and (9), 922(g)(5)(B) and 922(y); 27 CFR 478.99(a) and (c)(5)]

^^^^refer to post #26

Then there is this:

Can a nonimmigrant alien obtain a waiver from the prohibition on shipping, transporting, receiving, or possessing a firearm or ammunition?
Yes. An individual may apply to ATF for a waiver.

The question was about illegal aliens legally purchasing/owning firearms, not one here legally on a visa. Don't dodge the question and answer it.

The crime syndicate aka the GOP forged their legacy the minute they allowed this grifter to enter The White House as most of them are also compromised by the Russians. We do not need to compromise on anything with traitors to expose their greed and lack of patriotism. Trump is circling the drain so no need to bargain with him for anything either.

Lets not forget this convenient loophole in the gun laws:

May a nonimmigrant alien who has been admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa and who falls within an exception, purchase a firearm or ammunition in the United States?

A nonimmigrant alien who has established residency in a State may purchase and take possession of a firearm from an unlicensed person, provided the buyer and seller are residents of the same State, and no other State or local law prohibits the transaction. A nonimmigrant alien with residency in a State may purchase a firearm from a licensee, provided the sale complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

[18 U.S.C. 922(a)(9); 27 CFR 478.29a]
