To top it off , he’s a deadbeat...

But Greenberg said his client "really doesn't have any money at this point" due to "mismanagement," "hangers-on" and "bad deals."
He added Kelly would ultimately be able to come up with the required $100,000.
"He's trying to get it together," Greenberg said. "He doesn't have it sitting in the bank."

According to court documents reviewed by CNN, Kelly owed more than $169,000 in unpaid child support to his ex-wife as of February 6.
The court ordered Kelly to make a monthly payment of $20,833 on January 8, 2009, but Kelly failed to show up to that hearing, per court documents.

Kelly also risked eviction at his Chicago studio last month because he owes more than $166,000 in unpaid rent.

If every musician who boffed an underage groupie gets brought up on charges it's gonna be a blood bath! Glam rockers from the 80's better hope they are past the statute of limitations. Teenage groupies were giving those fellows bj's like they were going out of style.

Kelly's behavior wasn't about just an affair with an underage girl, he kept some of them captive in his home. Amazing how long this has gone on, overdue.

There is definitely truth to some of that.

Not sure how much you've read on this topic though, it goes beyond just sex.

Due to my age, no doubt,
You're not missing anything. His music is not spectacular and he looks like a creep.

It's shocking he can't post a $100,000k bond. The guy should be a millionaire. I don't feel sorry for him.

Concerts Stuttgart -- a promoter for a couple German concerts R. Kelly is supposed to perform at in April -- sent an update to ticket holders Monday, saying they're holding off on selling more tickets, given R. Kelly's legal sitch here in the States.

CS goes on to say (in rough English translation) ... "At the moment, and we also have to admit that, the chances of the tour are rather bad, yet we would like to wait for the outcome of the (case). It is also correct that Robert had to (surrender) his passport for now.
