Isn't it a bit hypocritical that blacks are 13.8 % of the population and commit more than 50% of the murders but you really only care about the one or two killed by cops. You do know that cops kill more whites than blacks?
You still don't get it. Blacks are protesting RACISM when they protest police killings. Racism, for over 300 years, is what fomented the poverty and other conditions that has led up to high rates of homicides. Whether you disagree that racism is the root of higher rates of black poverty and dysfunction is not germane, because its how blacks see it which does not make our protest hypocritical. It would only be hypocritical if blacks did not see racism as the root cause of inequality of our problems.
You do not understand the nature of the police protest. When blacks kill blacks.....when the killer is known they go to jail or they get killed in a retaliation strike. When police kill blacks there is rarely any time served. In the case where the police are quickly charged.....rarely do you see protest. The protest is against taking black lives taken with no jail time when the killer is known. Unlike black on black homicides, homicides of blacks by the state says that you can kill blacks with impunity. If I go kill another black person...I know I am going to be doing time....if I don't get killed in retaliation first.
When you can kill blacks with no threat to your own life.....that only encourages it more and for it to come from the authority can and does reek back to the days of systematic racial oppression.
Your point is:
If a black man kills a black man, he will either get arrested by law enforcement or be killed by another black man. Therefore, justice is served.
But if a police officer kills a black man, he will not face justice, and that's why Black Lives Matter exists. To make sure that law enforcement is held accountable.
I get it. The inherent bias in law enforcement is a big problem. I think surveillance of cops will help (body cameras, etc). In 2017, police killed 19 unarmed black males, down from 36 in 2015, according to The Washington Post.

Blacks have faked racism so many times they have hurt their own cause.
Just last week a female black police officer was killed on her way to work. All over the media black groups were claiming it had to be a white racist who did it. When her black boyfriend was charged, it was "crickets".
