"Four suspects have been arrested and charged after Greece Police say they planned to attack a Muslim community near Binghamton.
...
Greece Police say three of the four suspects knew each other because they were involved in Boy Scouts."
They were caught when the juvenile started talking at school.
Kudos to the kid(s) that tipped off the police.
it's good that they were caught before they could do anything.
why is it important or relevant that they were former boy scouts? you'll be ecstatic to hear that your fellow SJWs have pretty much stomped the hated boy scouts of america into the ground.

Second paragraph of the linked article said "Greece Police arrested 20-year-old Brian Colaneri of Gates, 18-year-old Andrew Crysel of East Rochester, 19-year-old Vincent Vetromile of Greece, and a 16-year-old Odyssey Academy student and charged each of them with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of conspiracy."
Epic levels of stupidity if you are planning doing a terrorist attack. This is because it can often involve harming or killing people that were not intended targets and because you lower yourself to the lowest rungs of humanity.

It's pretty normal for reports such as these to detail the relationship between the suspects, isn't it?
I'm not laying any blame on the Boy Scouts. Whatever these young men took away from that experience was clearly warped into something evil exclusive of their participation garnering merit badges, volunteering, etc.

White male boy scouts (probably with toxic masculinity and Trump supporters to boot) "planning" (I wonder what stage they were in) planning to kill individuals in the "religion of peace"?
That is almost too perfect for the religion of victimhood (liberalism) to celebrate, as it shows how evil white males indoctrinated by such a wicked organization like the Boy Scouts can be. I'll bet they were going to lynch a few gays and all were wearing "blackface" to humiliate minority groups.
I wonder why they don't give the same exposure to all the muslims actually killing US citizens and Christians? Naw............................................... ......... that is too common and does not fit the agenda, so better ignore those.
I’m with DRob4JC. This story is [fake news/a nothingburger] because it doesn’t make [librulz/Democrats/black people] look bad. Please refrain from posting about things that don’t fit that narrative.

Would the organization be published at all much less in the title if it were the Drama club in HS or even middle school? Probably not.
The article doesn't say when they were in Boy Scouts but given their ages they were likely out of the scouts for quite some time.
