When I saw that video of the swat team busting in Stone's house at 6 am, I thought " I live for the day when we see them doing the same thing to Donald Trump !"
This arrest is pretty significant. No other Trump associate has been arrested in this manner, they all walked into the courthouse and turned themselves in. For the authorities to handle Stone differently makes me wonder why they felt the need to do it that way.
Every day, they move up the food chain a little more, and Little Donnie has to be a more than a little concerned about what he sees happening.
So today we learn that the Trump campaign (through Roger Stone) was actively seeking help from Wikileaks, who we know was a front for Russian intel services stolen material.
Here's everything we knew before today about collusion:
1). One week before the event in which Trump officially became the nominee, the top three people in the Trump campaign cleared time in their schedule so that they could meet with a representative of the Russian government, for the purpose of negotiating what Russia wanted, to help the campaign.
2). Hours after this meeting, Junior received a call from a blocked caller ID number.
2a). Donald Trump uses a blocked phone number for his personal phone calls.
2b). The Nunes committee blocked Dem requests to find out who the blocked call was from.
3). Hours after the phone call, Donald Trump tells a rally that the campaign is going to be receiving dirt on Hillary Clinton in the next few days.
4). A week after the meeting, at the convention, the Trump campaign alters the GOP platform, to remove calls for the US to help the country that Russia has invaded.
5). And two weeks after that, the Russian government releases the first nothingburger of stolen information.

My thoughts ? Will this piff- off the potus even more? Will republicans in congress distance themselves from him ? Will his help or hurt the shut down ?
All the people; indicted, sentenced, or arrested have the same two words that precedes their name, Donald Trump's........ When will Trump supporters give up the ghost?

So Trump claims he nor anybody in his campaign did anything wrong, yet 7...SEVEN people involved in his campaign have been to federal prison, and ALL of them were charged for lying to federal investigators.
If nobody did anything wrong like Trump claims...why does everybody keep lying to federal investigators about what happened?
And I wonder if they considered Stone a flight risk?
He knows many many people with private planes--even private air strips--who could facilitate a trip to country beyond extradition and then plead ignorance...
Stone wasn't served with a subpoena for incriminating documents or a no-knock warrant and "raided" as Cohen and Manafort were for incriminating materials that were thought in danger of being destroyed
At least I don't remember reading Stone was raided and searched by DoJ
So while this seems to be designed to focus on WikiLeaks involvement and Stone's lying about his involvement...there could certainly be other materials, including testimony by others' Mueller has already investigated/charged, linked to Stone's involvement in the campaign
And remember that Trump already was under investigation by the FBI prior to Mueller's investigation of the Russia involvement/election tampering...
Stone could have been caught during that time and flagged for suspicious actions
And lest anyone forget--
Stone and Paul Manafort created a partnership out of college and began their careers in political lobbying for foreign (and US) entities...
lot of that was really illegal if not investigated because it was done at the behest of the Reagan administration and mostly Republican interests when Reagan was out of office
They were involved in the Iran/Contra activities
They played dirty, in other words, and had no compunctions about staying within the laws of the US if it meant they would become rich and powerful...
Stone has ALWAYS played outside the boundaries of the law...
Considers himself above the law like many career criminals in any type of illegal activities

I was thinking this, too. The wall idea is dead. You know it was Stone’s idea for Individual 1 to use the wall as a mnemonic device during rallies?
It’s dead. Let’s open the government.
