After 26 years of verbal and mental abuse and a physical assault after which a victim's advocate wanted to take her to a hospital, Joni Ernst decided to call it quits to her religious institution of marriage between one man and one woman.

Years before her divorce, U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst was assaulted by her husband after she confronted him about his relationship with their daughter's babysitter, she wrote in court filings.
According to some, that she never called the Police after being assaulted, it never happened.
Both have accused each other of infidelity. Who knows?
Her religion does not ban divorce.
As an aside, the records of Trump’s first divorce show Invana Trump alleging chronic rage and both physical and mental abuse. It was covered by the N.Y. tabloids. One in particular spoke to Trump’s rage about the pain following a hair plug procedure that resulted in physical violence against his wife. Who knows?

How does this have anything to do with Trump? On topic I’m glad she got out of an abusive relationship, sad that it took so long and she had to suffer.
