Has Trump once attended church services since taking office two years ago? And I'm talking regular, Sunday services...not some special event where he's visiting somewhere.
Sitting presidents often cut back their church attendance because of the disruption it causes. Obama attended church regularly before becoming president, and sporadically while president. Trump basically never attended church before becoming president, and has continued to follow that path. He has claimed that he attended church before, but no one has been able to verify this. And he limited his claim to saying he attended on Easter, Christmas, and other occasions.
This tweet is about conning the religious right into supporting him. I do recall he claims he collects some bibles, but thats a complex question because his claims about it are....outlandish.
Just when you think the man can't come up with anything more lame-brained, he does. When it comes to guns the constitution matters but when it comes to the separation of church and state it's just a piece of paper.
Nope, he doesn't care about the guns part either. and I quote:
Quote:
“I like taking the guns early, like in this crazy man’s case that just took place in Florida ... to go to court would have taken a long time,” Trump said at a meeting with lawmakers on school safety and gun violence.
“Take the guns first, go through due process second,” Trump said.
I'm a big second amendment guy, so I found this particularly disturbing. On one of the few things I agree with on Republicans heres this guy just pooping on that too.
Trump touts proposed Bible literacy classes in state schools
What's the purpose of churches? Isn't Sunday School still taught in churches?
Quote:
President Trump on Monday embraced a proposal from lawmakers in six states that would allow public schools to offer Bible literacy classes shortly after the subject was discussed on "Fox & Friends."
"Numerous states introducing Bible Literacy classes, giving students the option of studying the Bible. Starting to make a turn back? Great!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
