He clarified to the crowd he doesn’t have broken/injured ribs. He also told them he kicked the Individual 1 supporters’ behinds.

Some of what he said was drowned out by the crowd. When in the video does he say he didn't have broken/injured ribs and he kicked the attackers behinds ?
For the record, I think the victim is telling the truth but I think it's a revenge attack regarding a personal beef of some sort that someone has with him. My hunch is one of the attackers is an ex-boyfriend of someone that the victim hooked up with and the ex wants revenge and the victim might not have ever met the attacker.
And IMO, the attacker used the slurs and MAGA as a way to deflect from the real reason for the attack, as an attempt to not get caught(rather than yell: 'you stole my boyfriend').
But I believe the victim has no clue who/why this attack occurred and is reporting what occurred. I also think the person that wrote the letter is associated with the attack.
Just my guess though.
I could see this being plausible. But, how does the threatening hate mail factor in? Conceivably they would have also sent those as well? This would have been a multi-day planned in advance attack, not a spur of the moment crime of passion.

I did think the same thing until the timeline of the videos showed him out of camera range for only one minute and then walked away with his rope and sandwich. There is no way this entire thing he claimed happened only took a few seconds. The dude lied, probably to generate ticket sales for this concert.

Yes. For example, a spurned ex that lost his boyfriend to the victim, stewing about it and planning it out for several weeks. Wanting to rough him up and scare him for revenge.
