As such, every word has to be taken at its face value.

Awesome. I think I'll go out and stone someone.

Religious liberty! Smite your neighbor who doesn't honer the sabbath.

Quote:
Now while the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day. Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation; and they put him in custody because it had not been declared what should be done to him. Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.” So all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death with stones, just as the Lord had commanded Moses. - Numbers 15: 32-36

Pretty simple answer, but you of course don't want the answer, you just want to be mad at God to justify not having to live righteously

"My baby daughter died of bone cancer, why?!"
"She was touched by Satan"

Have you ever considered a career in grief counselling?

Fire, brimstone, and plagues of frogs and locusts wouldn’t have been enough punishment?
God has a very good sense of humor.

If nothing else, it has certainly been an object lesson in how not to uphold the Ten Commandments.

Not to mention the seven deadly sins.
Really, who better epitomizes lust, gluttony, greed, laziness, wrath, envy and/or pride than Trump?

Sometimes we do need concrete examples of how not to live to remind us of how we should.

I don't often agree with Sarah, but, I'm thinking she may be onto something here.

Sorry, but that dog won't hunt. Sometimes bad things happen to good people, and good things happen to bad ones. I absolutely believe that miracles are possible, but I also believe that sometimes **** just happens.

America is not a theocracy and never has been regardless of how much you wish it were so. People aren't required to "live righteously" according to your god's rules. And now, you have less moral authority than ever to impose your dogma on the rest of us because of who you've chosen as your Dear Leader. When Trump is out of office, American Christianity will have to deal with that stain for years to come.

Someone has authority issues
So Honey Boo Boo all grown up says god wanted Trump to be president? That makes about as much sense as this video.
