Escalating one of the investigations into President Trump’s inaugural committee, federal prosecutors ordered on Monday that its officials turn over documents about donors, finances and activities, according to two people familiar with the inquiry.
Only one individual was named as part of the subpoena’s demand for documents: Imaad Zuberi, a former fund-raiser for President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton who was seeking inroads with Mr. Trump, and whose company, Avenue Ventures, gave $900,000 to the inaugural committee. The subpoena also seeks documents related to his company.

Looks like another garden variety foreign agent looking to influence the American political system in their country's favor. They give money to whomever is in power.
This could be Mueller's end game. Let SDNY charge the Trump family, and unseal his indictments when they are outside the reach of a presidential pardon.
"...prosecutors are investigating a litany of potential crimes: conspiracy against the US, false statements, mail fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, inaugural committee disclosure violations, and violations of laws prohibiting contributions by foreign nations and contributions in the name of another person, also known as straw donors."
I didn't vote for Trump and I won't in 2020. The man is the very image of your typical High School bully and it bugs the crap out of me. Having said that, isn't it obvious at this point that every, "This is the end of Trump! We finally got him!!" ends up being a dud? How many times do you have to experience the same outcome before you learn: Don't get all excited about every little hiccup in the Mueller investigation. How about waiting for something of real substance? So far Mueller has caught a bunch of politicians being politicians (aka criminals) on completely unrelated charges. No real evidence of criminal collusion between Trump and Russia has turned up in all this time. It might be time to start accepting the fact that there's probably nothing there.
IMHO, the notion that Trump is owned by the Russians is completely ridiculous. The price tag for the absolute loyalty (that's what the MSM is suggesting) of somebody who already has $5-10 billion is too big for a relatively poor nation like Russia to afford. You'd be talking a bare minimum of $50 billion. More likely somewhere in the hundreds of billions of dollars -- and there may not be a sum large enough. When your Donald Trump rich, money is just a way of keeping score. You don't actually need any more of the stuff. But assume for a moment that Trump's absolute loyalty can be bought for a few hundred billion dollars. A.) That's about 1/3 of the nation of Russia's annual GDP and their government doesn't actually have that kind of money. B.) Nobody -- not even those clever super-spies in Russia -- can move a few hundred billion dollars without everyone on earth noticing it. The only scenario for collusion that makes any kind of logical sense would be Trump just being an opportunist letting Russia help him get elected. Maybe something like that happened, maybe it didn't. But all indications thus far point to 'it didn't."
Rather than going all in betting on Russian collusion that probably didn't happen, how about focusing on the fact that Trump is an obnoxious self-important prick instead? The Russian Nothingburger is just going to make the Dems look stupid, when focussing on what we already know to be true might actually work for them. We know that Donald J Trump is an a-hole. Focus on that instead.

Great, they ca go ahead and start their investigation of Trump's upcoming 2020 election win too.

Muller seems to be taking his time with this and he should be, you don’t do not go to a rave and your ducks are not in line.
