Republicans have to be careful not to destroy ALL of the loony, far left candidates before the general election or they might end up with a moderate democrat running against Trump.
Didn't the Washington Post break this story or the Boston Globe? This is the Democratic establishment making their candidate pool stronger, not Republicans.

Well when she wrote it she thought she was.
She didn't think she was native american (at best she thought she had some minute NA ancestry from generations ago, something the overwhelming amount of White Americans believe). She was trying to take advantage of affirmative action.

Don't ypu think she should have CHECK IT OUT FIRST!
I'm REALLY tired of all of you bashing this American Indian woman.

First of all, her grandfather had high cheekbones.
Secondly and even MORE importantly, she announced and presented a few months ago, justifiably proudly, that her DNA PROVES her claim. She is 0.0002% native American! She had a native American ancestor who lived about 600 years ago.

SO STOP WITH THE UNFOUNDED BASHING! (and we Democrats have no doubt about her authenticity, so why should you????)

Regardless, I don't think she gets the nomination in any event but she will be reelected senator.
Because a picture is worth a thousand words. Seeing her lie in writing, and not a checkbox so stop repeating the false assertion, makes the fact that she is a fraud more visceral.

By the way, there may be more of these coming. I doubt she was a fraud in writing just once.

I’m triggered by this blatant cultural appropriation. But although she is now effectively derailed from a presidential bid, look at the bright side, she can probably open a casino.

well said, physical evidence she's a racist when she spelled out "American Indian" to gain favor instead of checking a box

You are underweighting the reality of the midterms. It was a tectonic shift of seats. It is likely we will have a democrat president next. In which case, what kind of democrat do we want. A moderate like a Biden would be quite similar to Trump and would do the least damage to our way of life. Damage is coming, and so damage control is a priority. So I say go after the progressive wing with guns ablaze. This also helps to neuter the far left wing by exposing the madness of their collectivist ideals. So Pocahantas has got to go, and Occasional-Cortex and her ilk also need to remain on the firing line.

.....and because the point Goodnight was making is irrelevant because some critical of Warren over her transgressions on this subject aren't Trump supporters, or even Republicans.

Everything isn't 'Us vs. Them'

I have been one of the toughest Trump critics on this forum for more than two years. Can't stand the guy. And I don't like Warren either. She's a little too lefty for my taste but even more than that I'm fed up with liars. Yeah, I know all politicians lie but both Warren and Trump are in a class by themselves.

There have been a lot of big mid term shifts. Bigger than this one. And the incumbent president still manages to win.

As much as the democrats love their socialists, the reality is that regular Americans don’t want that. You need independents to win a national election, and between a socialist and Trump, they will hold their noses and vote for Trump, even if they tell their friends otherwise. Unfortunately for republicans, Cortez can’t run.
