I have always seen the articles above the constitution.
Some problems are that states are two big and powerful, so in my mind the federal politics should be at a county and local level, within smaller states (break up big states like California, Texas, etc.).
Secondly its economics. A corporate economy doesn't work well with confederacy, but lowering the economic growth rate by giving production into worker hands can help (among other means).
The Holy Roman Empire, the south, etc. had a model than can help turn us away from imperialism, corporatism, and financial disasters.
And the central government would facilitate disputes, acting like a court, but would hold very little power otherwise.
And no need for tax money means Amazon, etc. can't use infrastructure to control the economy at large.
Lower standard of living for sure, but without debt and federal borrowing, it should work (remember the articles was when the US was heavily in debt).

So who's with me?
Not you, according to your claims of anarcho-socialism/anarcho-,syndicalism. Unless entry to the confederacy you support is purely voluntary.
I'm also not sure what your screed on corporate economies and giving production to workers has to do with a confederacy. Surely the intent would be a collective of self governing entities (call them what you will) to enter into a mutually beneficial agreement, but the internal functions of each entity is opaque to the confederation. Those entities would be able to formulate their own methods of internal commerce, only at the boundaries would they need synchronisation (import/export). If this isn't the case, then it's more or less the same as we have now, where the Federal/Confederate government enforces functions within political entities under its control.
Pork is disgusting. And Pigs are beautiful creatures.
Tell that to the ranchers and farmers in Texas and Oklahoma. We hunt hogs there and stack up about 20 in an evening. It makes a good meal for the mountain lions, bobcats, and coyotes.
Hogs are destroying the ecosystem in those states.

Search up how pigs are treated in factory farms.
