The impeachment process has begun. If you want to quibble, think of it as the pre-impeachment process. Whatever you call it, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler is not fooling around.

Nadler said Sunday on ABC News that he would ask for documents from more than 60 people in President Donald Trump's family, business, White House and Justice Department. That seemed like a lot, but he understated the case. The New Yorker who would lead impeachment hearings launched on Monday what he called an "investigation into threats against the rule of law" and requested documents from 81 "agencies, entities and individuals."

This isn't overkill, it's playing catch-up. What we’re seeing now is the oversight and scrutiny that should have started on Day One of this administration. It's also laying the foundation for impeachment

And the Trump crime family knows it. Also, Mueller has not interviewed some of the key players that are being saved for last as they will likely be indicted.

Indict or impeach him, and you will not not see a peaceful transition of power. Will it be worth it?

What’s ironic here, is that the accusation is trump somehow colluded with a bunch of Russian internet trolls to write articles that somehow influenced millions of Dems to suddenly vote Republican, thereby throwing an election. Assuming it’s true, it seems to me those Dem voters who were influenced by a lying Facebook link should be held accountable, not the President.

this is purely political in nature and you guy know it. the only reason trump is being attacked like he is, is because he beat hillary whom the demonrats anointed at the one to take over for obama.

It is rare in history for one person (you) to deceive themselves so thoroughly. Your post exhibits a level of cluelessness not usually seen, even on CD.

Well maybe you should read more of this posters threads and posts to see just how out there they are.

BTW - Does anyone remember how the Democrats complained for 8 years about what McConnell said that first year about opposing Obama?
Heck he was only talking about being opposed to his policies if they were going to be uber liberal.

Yet now these same liberals/leftists are reveling in the fact Democrats have admitted to be willing to find anything they can to remove a duly elected president from office.
Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

An impeachment is a purely political process by design.

Yet another thread on this? Your USA Today opinion piece is over a week old and there have been multiple threads started on this.

Democrats think making real estate deals is grounds for impeaching Trump.

This is what they are reduced to.

Just the way you want it right?

Just admit it, you want him as a strongman.

Cons are quaking with fear so much over brown people that they feel like they need a strongman. It's quite pathetic.
