Liberals and Democrats want changes in the electoral and constitutional system.
No more red/blue state Election Night graphics when it comes to the presidential election.
The president/vice president must be elected by the popular vote.
That means in 2000 it should have been **President Al Gore/Vice President Joe Lieberman.
Bush would have gone back home to Texas, probably run for a third gubernatorial term in 2002, Jeb and him would probably think of running in '04 against McCain and George Allen in the '04 GOP primaries; Cheney back to Halliburton.
That means in 2016 it should have been **President Hillary Clinton/Vice President Tim Kaine.
Trump, a billionaire would have gone back to NY and Mar-a-lago, back to his business, he would have gotten his Moscow Russia project done, Pence would have retired as Indiana governor and probably get a job in the private sector, or potentially run in the '20 election against Nikki Haley, Ted Cruz in the '20 GOP primaries.

Leftists don't want to abolish the 2nd amendment or the rule of law. At one time or another people from both sides have suggested abolishing the Electoral College
Nobody on the left wants us to become Venezuela. Trump does though. He wants to be a dictator.
