Young white men rejecting Democrats who have rejected them & its eating into and weakening their base they hoped to grow.

Whites are still about 65% of the population. The democrats came out too early with their campaign of hate and its costing them. Those not willing to accept the self-loathing directed at them are looking elsewhere.

Young white men are getting the message. Hate directed at them is getting their attention and respond by leaving the democrat party looking for those who want to represent them.

I'm part of this group. I voted Democrat most of my life (mid 30's). But, I'm tired of being portrayed as the bad guy simply because I'm a straight, white male. I'm not buying into the intersectionality that they're selling. People should be judged individually, not based on their identifying groups. The current Democratic party has gone full in on identity politics.

You say "People should be judged individually, not based on their identifying groups." yet go on to do just that saying "The current Democratic party has gone full in on identity politics."

And just WHO is portraying straight, white males as the bad guys?

Pardon? I think people should be judged individually. Today's left (note: today. Parties are able to shift) judges based on various identity groups. You get more support based on how many victim groups you belong to. That's as clear as I can portray it.

As to your latter question, you can't be serious. Straight, white males are portrayed as bad in today's society. If you can't see that, you're just not paying attention.

I never feel attacked. Why do you feel attacked?

I'm a straight white male.

Lots of college kids aren't free to speak their own minds. The Marist educators and classes being offered are discussed in this link :

Its actually getting quite complicated.

It doesn't mean they are all joining the GOP. It looks like for some its who will represent them not what party will represent them.
Take Bernie Sanders out of the democrat party and many on the left would follow him.

Its in the links provided :

In the identitarian worldview, ‘white men’ are responsible for all the world’s woes – the phrases ‘white people’ and ‘white men’ are practically shorthand for evil. Listicles reveal the ‘37 things white people need to stop ruining in 2018’, magazines declare that ‘white men must be stopped’, while even respectable outlets like the Washington Post ask ‘why can’t we hate white men?’.

In another link provided :
Simon Jenkins wrote a column in the Guardian saying the one group of people you’re allowed to hate these days is old white men.

The difference is they haven't always targeted a race to hate on. That's a noticeable change.
