I’m saying somebody wrote a silly Facebook post, and now we’re ready to unwind and destroy a fairly elected government over a Facebook post? How about Democrats trying this instead: next election, don’t believe everything you read on Facebook. There! Impeachment avoided.
It was not a "silly Facebook post". It was a concerted and intensive effort over time to spread disinformation via social media, not just FB. When an individual does it, it's one thing. When a hostile foreign government does it to interfere in our election process, it's another.
When a candidate in that election partners with a hostile foreign govenrment to spread disinformation to rig the election in his favor, it's treason.
No one in the general public has any idea what evidence has been found. We all just have to wait and see. Not sure where you get that Trump has been besieged for four years. He's only been president for a little over two. I know it seems like four though.
the minute trump announced he was running for president in 2015, the left started going after him. they have been going after him ever since.

They tried the same thing with the Kavanaugh hearing by introducing Blaisey Ford at the last minute to take him down. They painted him as a serial rapist that had drunken rape parties every weekend but where was the evidence beyond Ford's claims? It was sketchy from the start but it was almost enough to stop his nomination and certainly enough to cast doubt on him for the rest of his life.
I suspect they will try the same thing with Trump and if he should win in 2020 then they will start the impeachment.
The Dems are a sneaky bunch and I wouldn't put anything past them and as they like to say "The Investigation Continues"...

To be clear the 2018 Midterms were the BIGGEST LOSS the Republicans have suffered since 1974, and that is in ANY election since 2018 all the way back to 1974 when they lost 57 seats or a 114 seat swing...
44 years that is how far back we have to go to see the Republicans LOSS more seats than they lost last year.
