Interesting, how migrants go thousands and thousands miles to escape violence but many are ending in Albuquerque which has homicide rates nearly as high as Guatamela.
The migrants have overwhelmed El Paso and many are being sent to Albuquerque. I have been in both of El Paso is like a resort in comparison to Albuquerque which is completely overwhelmed with a violent crime and heroin crisis.

Hypedermic needles line the streets of Albuquerque according to this news report. I was there last year and in Albuquerque one has to watch where they walk as hypedermic needles line the streets of the city.
I am sure many had their sights on staying in El Paso which has exceptionally low rates social issues for a city of it's size, but they are so overwhelmed and are being sent to Albuquerque four hours north which likely is a step down from Guatemala City.
Having been to Albuquerque recently which is the grips of a violent crime and heroin crisis, I wonder if many of the migrants will want to go back to their home country.
