Revenge and knee jerk reactions never solved any problems either. The planet is very violent. It has always been the survival of the fittest. And the best way for the weak to protect themselves against the villainous strong is to either arm themselves with weapons that create an even playing field, or hire those who are strong to help fight for them. Removing such a strong weapon like the gun only removes it from the weak and law abiding citizens. Criminals don't care for laws, the fact that they want to kill people with any means necessary is proof of that. Best antidote is to train to protect yourself so you can defend yourself against this violence!

I can't decide whether AOC is an unwitting tool, or the sad product of the available education system.

I fear the latter enables the former.

First of all, this one isn't our ball park.

Secondly, there are a lot people in the world who don't like it when the US does it make their ball park.

Finally, if one thinks it is bad now, just wait till only the powerful have all the firepower and the general populace does not.....or, look at history at what happened to the general populace when that was the situation.

That's why they all need to go this time. We need to leave not a single one standing.
They don’t hate gun. I am pretty sure she is surrounded by guns. They only hate guns if it is own by ordinary, law abiding citizens

Hmmm curious how the NRA could "stop the violence" in New Zealand or anywhere else?

Exactly.

If you think that the government has taken away too many of the people's Constitutional rights now......

Wait until the people are disarmed.

Wonder if she knows what the initials NRA even stands for.

She's still trying to find New Zealand on the Map, isn't it beside Italy ?

Its not terrible that she addressed it, it's pathetic that she said what she did. Once again, she made an idiot out of herself, which doesn't seem to take much.
