His budget tells us what Trump wants. And we have seen what happens when Trump doesn't get what he wants. He throws temper tantrums, shuts down the government or tries to usurp the Constitution to get his way. It's good to know what he's thinking before he gets a chance to act on it.

And he lied outright to his base. Even you aren't trying to pretend otherwise.

The wall won't cost more than 10-20B and the expense pays for itself in savings quickly.

So even if he does wish to cut hundreds of billions, its not true that its to pay for the Wall, which is only a small component of that hundreds of billions.

Let him do it. In 2020 his base will have deserted him, because the majority of them are old people who love and depend on their SS and Medicare.
I support spending cuts. So if he promised he wouldn't cut them, then I'm glad he lied. Does that address your concern?

He's only going to cut Democrats Medicare when he declares a national emergency.

Nancy Pulosi controls the purse strings. We know she's not going to give him anything even if it's reasonable.

Just curious, what level/ceiling of net worth would an uber-wealthy individual have to get below (by giving away wealth) to have you no longer classify said person as an 'obscene hoarder' ?

I bet the vast majority of seniors who make up his base don't agree with you.

Someone should tell Trump that. He seems a little confused on this issue. Though I'm sure the courts will educate him.

If he gets his way, all of the seniors who voted for him will get screwed by him.

'Trump said he wouldn’t cut Medicaid, Social Security, and Medicare. His 2020 budget cuts all 3.'

The richest 1 percent in the United States now own more wealth than the bottom 90 percent combined. I'd call that obscene. And these are the people who got the bulk of the tax cuts. Why do they need more, when they hold the vast majority of the country's wealth already? And why do you think it's okay to take from the poor and the sick and the disabled to give yet MORE to these already obscenely wealthy? That's the real question here.
