San Antonio City Council just voted to ban Chick-Fil-A from their city airport, over their stance on the LBGTQ community.
They had better hope that Chick-Fil-A chooses not to sue and I expect they won't.
Again, while I do not agree with their stance a government entity can't punish you over who you donate to. (and that is why this happened not because of the stance.)

Airports are kind of a unique market.
Cities DO choose which restaurants will go in their municipal airports - it's a limited space, so there are limited stores that can open.
It's a for-profit thing for both the restaurant and the airport entity.
It appears they have every right to say which restaurants will be offered a contract.

They could have simply turned the opportunity down. They didn't do that. They had to make it known that they turned them down because they donate to the Salvation Army.

Chick-fil-a is a privately owned company who donated to one of the most recognized charities in the world, the Salvation Army how dare them! These people need to get a life ..................
Aside from the politics, their food is unhealthy. That is reason enough to oppose Chik Fil A.
