Very sad, such a young age.

RIP.

Suicide is always controversial. Put on your thinking cap.

Events such as these destroy the very soul of our country.

I actually heard a Vet (an officer!) call into a radio show today and ask the host if he thought that the state of things (he was talking about Trump not bringing people together, lies, hopelessness, etc.) was responsible for the continuing high VA suicide rates.

The host wouldn't touch it....which was probably a good thing.

But the guy calling seemed highly educated and informed. It's not much different of a question as to whether one thinks White Supremacy, Anti-Semitism or other such things are on the rise. All these events, taken together, can make a sensitive person take a long hard look at the world and wonder whether it is worthwhile to go on.

Fairly steep upward trend. Obviously some would be the result of the Iraq and Afghanistan thing, but there are other factors also.

See my post above.

Suicide is very political.....from the fact that the VA didn't spend even 1% of what they were allocated for prevention to the very core of our society.

Our life spans are actually decreasing (USA) due to opiate OK, suicides, etc.

Very political. Happy and well adjusted people tend to kill themselves less....especially younger populations (who are doing the deed in high numbers now).

Happiness and Health are perhaps the most important political issues of our times!

She might have killed herself had the incident never happened.

We don't know.

All it is right now is an ironic byline.

Very sad that this young girl ended her life.

Tying it to Trump and politics is disgusting.

Classy.

Guess that Mueller report and Trump not leaving in cuffs has caused you to out derp yourself to a new level to tie something totally unrelated to this little ladies suicide.

Survivor guilt is real. But never let an opportunity to bash Trump go to waste.
Want to make it political? 2 can play that game.

Shame this young lady offed herself while that liberal POS coward SRO stood down.

If anyone should off themselves, it'd be that worthless coward POS who's out collecting a pension.

I hope that coward prick lives to see 150 and hears the screams of the victims of that day. And I hope it haunts him for an eternity.

Sad. You should look into anger management.

LOL you think I'm mad... like you mean anything or amount to anything worth getting upset over.
Funny ya'll seem to get your cake and eat it too. God forbid someone of the opposing political views descends to your level to prove a point. Then it's herp derp why are you so angry.

Angry? Not even a little bit.
Surprised one would stoop so low? Kinda.

If anyone should seek therapy, it'd be you for that Trump derangement syndrome.

You're going to have to show your work to tie Trump to this one. Ohh the mental gymnastics would be glorious to see you explain your reasoning behind this one...
