This is seriously really, really stupid. Then again its not surprising coming from the fact that the "president" is just a big orange haired man-baby. If he actually does this ( he won't because he had no actual idea how to do it ) it would throw both the US and Mexico into a recession: Billions and billions in trade cross between the border and closing it would cause an instant halt to that cross-border traffic: factories, processing plants, refineries and so on would suddenly lose their supply chains.
But the reason he's doing this? Because he knows his sad little pathetic supporters themselves will eat it up... yes- all of those sad rednecks living in flyoverland, 1000's of miles from the border, who are not one bit affected by this at all.
God I cannot wait for this orange piece of garbage to be gone from the office he so completely abuses and violates.

Close the border with Mexico? Let's empty out the grocery store shelves too. Guess where much of the fresh produce in supermarkets in much of the USA comes from at this time of year? Quick, name the #1 food exporter to the USA?
Here in Arizona, at the huge produce import warehouses in Rio Rico near the south end of interstate 19, you can see how big of a business this is. The states of Sonora and Sinaloa, due south from Arizona, are two of the biggest agricultural areas in Mexico. Thanks to them, our grocery shelves have loads of fresh produce at this time of year. If you turn off that supply, the fresh produce selection would be pretty thin until late Spring or summer in most of the USA.
Yet it is the uneducated, not too bright Americas that rely on government benefits to sustain them. Doesn't make sense if they are truly voting for the Republicans then, does it? It is the Democrats that are the party of socialism. I'm not buying your claims as it makes no sense to me.
I live in such an area and the above is accurate and they do vote republican because to quote a neighbor"the republican party will take care of me".
