Given his want of highly regulated (opposite of free) trade, why doesn't Don hate Japan?

For many decades, the trade deficit with Japan has been in the 10's of billions per year. Taken against inflations...and compounded to the present day, this has got to be in the TRILLIONS. Sure, it goes up then goes down then goes up.

Japan has gotten smart and now has a lot of their stuff made a labeled in S. Korea (another country we have a large deficit with) as well as MANY other Asian countries....

It makes sense to go after ALL the big ones, right? Japan is #4.....

What did you see in that post that suggested a hate on for Japan?

It was merely a statement of the trading relationship with Japan and why this administration doesn't seem to focus on trade with it.

I believe Trump thinks he has a 'good' relationship with Japan and that there will be a trade deal to correct the imbalance. Interestingly enough -- why wasn't that one of the first trade deals sealed.

There was an announcement on September 26th that negotiations have started.

I did notice that there isn't a rant about the imbalance, etc....let's see how it goes.

Today: Let's pick a random country and make up a reason to hate Trump for it.

Democrat & leftists have been in a blind rage since 2016.

I can assure you Japan does not label their products as made in South Korea. Your ignorance of Asia is astounding.

Again -- you totally misread the post.

A legitimate question -- why isn't Trump as focussed on the trade imbalance with Japan ---

If you can't answer the question -- why jump in with your hate on for anyone who dares to question anything about this administration.

Why do you think Trump doesn't rant about Japan's trade imbalance.

Why do that -- why not answer the question.

Why turn it into something about the OP rather than what is a legitimate question.

Many on this board accuse folks of not being able to discuss policy -- and when someone does --- even if they are a little biased -- instead of addressing the issue, the responses are to turn the tables on the OP.
