I donlt hear conservatives coming up with schemes to take money to fund their pet projects. They may be snakes, but the left are vipers.

Only in the U.S has the issue of climate change become a controversial topic. All other modern industrial countries are actually willing to take issue on this topic. Climate deniers make up a small chunk of their populations, while in the U.S, one of the major political parties actually deny the science altogether, which is actually a real extremist position. I don't think we realize just how extreme the Republican party is in comparison to conservative parties in other countries...to outright ignore the scientific community is pretty insane when you think about it. It's like ignoring the advice of what doctors say or arguing with your elementary teacher about what 2 + 2 is. They are ignoring the experts.

Not all climate scientists agree with AGW.

No it's not. You don't have the expertise to evaluate the information, or judge whether conflicting data is of equal value.

There is an almost incomprehensible amount of data showing forcing relationships, feedback loops, the roles various greenhouse gases play, and on and on. Not to mention observations are lining up with predictions with respect to sea level rise, glacial retreat, arctic amplification, etc.

Your position requires the complicity of tens of thousands of people around the globe for a century and a half.

That is insane beyond comprehension. The denial on this issue is wholly unfathomable and almost exclusively unique to the American right wing. It's pathetic and sad and selfish and dangerous because people who hold this objectively incorrect position hold seats of power and stymie attempts to address the problem.

I hope you don't have children or grandchildren because they will are going to be forced to live in a warmer world with a more erratic climate and they're going to look at you and ask why you didn't do anything to prevent it.
This is amazing and shows again why the AGW crowd does not believe in actual science. Read up about the "null hypothesis". It is the cornerstone of valid science, which the AGW crowd throws out the window.

It is incumbent upon those proposing the hypothesis to disprove the null hypothesis, not the opposite. In this fashion (by violating the cornerstone of the scientific method), AGW is a return to medieval times, in which we embrace sorcery, magic, and spirits to explain phenomenon. AGW is a slap in the face of rational science and a vacation of reason.

This - absolutely true.

By the way, Del Rio Texas had a record setting high temperature of 107F the other day. Not saying that's due to AGW, but folks can stop with the "blizzard in April means no AGW".

They all agree to a varying degree. The only ones who starkly disagree are connected to big polluting industries in one fashion or the other.

Another way to look at it, is you ask yourself...where is the scientific research to show we are experiencing natural warming? It doesn't exist.

That doesn't pay as much. Besides, there are climate scientists who say it is natural. They just get ignored.
