But also, there is some provincialism in the Bay Area towards LA

That's nothing new. Surfers coined the phrase "Locals Only" and have always been protective of their backyard.

Obviously, you thrive on trying to make people feel foolish, so we have established that you aren't truthful.

I went by the article as it was presented.

I also said "legal and illegal". You obviously went straight to search to cherry-pick whatever data fit your preconceived notions. Again, dishonest. If you believe Asians make up the bulk of all immigrants to CA, head right on.

I'll leave you with California's gov statistics, after all, they should know best, right?

Even with the immigrant (legal and illegal) influx, CA is still losing populous making this entire thread moot.

Liberals in CA will defend CA as they will all blue states and bash red states, exclaiming "we are smarter, better, and wonderful in every way" as if performing in a musical. If the state is so wonderful why are they shedding people? If the state is managed so well why are there 200-300k people living on the streets? Why are there tent cities in LA, SD, SF, and Oakland? Why is there needles and human waste in the streets?

Honestly, I couldn't care less. It's all semantic BS and lipstick on pigs!

So you call people dishonest when they offer proof that contradicts your "opinion"? That's not very originalistic of you . And regarding California losing population, that would infer a net negative population growth, don't you agree?

Quote:
California’s population grew by 215,000 people between July 1, 2017 and
July 1, 2018 to total 39.8 million, according to official population estimates released today by the
Department of Finance. This represents a growth rate of 0.54 percent.

Natural increase— births minus deaths— remains the primary source of the state’s population
growth, with 466,000 births minus 272,000 deaths. Net migration added 21,000 persons to
California. Net migration is the total number of legal and unauthorized immigrants, and movers
to California from other U.S. states, less the number of Californians who moved to another state
or abroad.
California has 58 counties ranging in size from Alpine County, with just over 1,100 residents, to
Los Angeles County with over 10 million residents. Since the national census on April 1, 2010,
the state has gained 2.6 million persons. There have been 4.1 million births and 2.1 million
deaths for a natural increase of 2.0 million, with 1.3 million net foreign immigrants.

CA is not losing population. How many times does this fact have to be repeated for some to finally get it???

People move out, people move in, and some people are created right here from day one. Just because a lot of people moved out, that doesn't mean a lot of people didn't move in or were born.
