Before you make excuses for HAMAS, nor for it's supporters in our congress, you really should take a few minutes to educate yourself to their goals-in their own words. The following from the Covenant of HAMAS.

Rejection of a Negotiated Peace Settlement:

international conferences are in contradiction to the principles of
the Islamic Resistance Movement... Those conferences are no more than
a means to appoint the infidels as arbitrators in the lands of
Islam... There is no solution for the Palestinian problem except by

There is more-it's worth a read. Before you believe the excuses of the terrorist supporters in congress and in our MSM-take the time to read that. Read the goals of these savages in their own words. The political system of Islam doesn't allow for the survival of those that are not it's followers.

It'll be easier just to make Egypt take the Gaza Strip back. If they blow it up no one will care.
