Authorities have arrested a police officer, a high school teacher, a minister and 13 others in a sting New Jersey officials said Wednesday was aimed at men who tried to set up sexual encounters with people they thought were teenage boys and girls.
The arrests were made as part of "Operation Home Alone," which targeted people who officials say used social media messaging and dating apps in an attempt to lure children.
The school system is full of this garbage. I admit I'm a bit surprised a cop gets involved with this type of stuff, but it happens. Today's school system: pajama day (WTF purpose is that?), pushing the argument that one must be actively involved in same sex before concluding that it's either for or not for them (lower a kids moral values). The list goes on. It's a friggin beacon attracting sexual predators.
Charge them... convict them... then publicly feed them into an industrial chipper shredder, feet first so we can see their facial expressions and hear them scream. Record it all and make it available to view online. Odds are if this was done to everyone caught in 10 to 20 stings, that nonsense would basically stop.
But then again, that's just MY opinion, for what it's worth.
What adult is dumb enough to fall for this old trick today LOL...if you are talking with an underage kid in some social media site..chances are its an undercover cop( especially if they try to get you to some meet them in person)!!! I assumed this would have been common sense by now, but I guess not.
I worked with a lady at my old job, her son (in his mid 20s), was busted in one of these stings, trying to arrange a meet with a teenage girl, turned out to be cops, he got like 2 yrs in a medium security prison (he was allowed to have big screen tv and Xbox btw), once he got out, they gave him a list of companies who would hire people convicted of sex offenses, I saw the list, it was all GREAT companies to work for, Coke Pepsi, Excel, etc, etc...
Long story short, he has been out for a few years and is doing great, hes actually making more than I am right now!
