I use to live in the building directly across from that location, and while I am not going to defend Brian ( I know him personally) I will tell you that, that location has a history of anti-abortion protesters doing their best to humiliate anyone going there seeking services. Not all of them for abortions.
Not defending Sims, however, those people should not be there if they can't take the heat. I do not go to protests of any kind because I personally think it's a waste of time and risky. Who knows when people might start pulling guns out, and there is also a risk of cars running people down. Both sides are angry as hell, so I think anyone on either side who spends time brawling should know that it is risky business.
